TRAVEL TURKEY IZMIR is organized under the patronage of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and is strongly supported by Metropolitan Municipality, Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Izmir Italian Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Shipping Izmir Branch, Scal International, Izmir Convention and Visitors Bureau, Izmir Chamber of Tourist Guides, Aegean Tourstic Hotels Association, Association of Fair Organizers of Turkey.
The last edition of TRAVEL TURKEY IZMIR, was organized on 13-16 December 2007, welcomed 203 companies and had 10.051 visitors from 16 countries such as Belgium, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Maldives, Moldova, Nigeria, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkmenistan, UAE, Yemen.
The main exhibit groups of the fair could be states as; Business and Congress Tourism, Health - Thermal & SPA Tourism, Sports Tourism, Active and Adventure Tourism, Education and Culture Tourism, Holiday Villages, Banking, Insurance and Audit Services, Media, Tourism Promotion Offices and Organizations, Hotels, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Technology: Reservation Systems - Communication Systems, Tourism Trainings and Language Schools, Organization, Decoration and Security Services, Highway Tourist Transportation Companies, Airlines, Culture and Tourism Directorates of Cities, Municipalities, Tourism Associations and Corporations, Industrial Publications, Restaurants and Cafes, Car Rental Companies, Others.
